Ben Olsen was formerly the head coach of DC United and has been a Kwik Goal Ambassador since 2019. In a 10-year coaching career at DC United, Olsen was in charge of 385 games, notably winning the US Open Cup in 2013.
As a player, Olsen played for DC United from 1998-2009, appearing in 256 matches and scoring 32 goals. He had a short stint at Nottingham Forest in the English First Division (now the Championship) in the 2000-01 season. At DC United, Olsen was an instrumental part of the clubs’ history, winning the MLS Cup in 1999 and 2004 and the US Open Cup in 1998.
Olsen also competed on the international stage with the US Men’s National Team where he amassed 37 caps and scored 6 goals, winning the Gold Cup in 2005.
